“Photography That Doesn’t Make A Scene”
Hi,
My name is Roger Overall and I’m a documentary photographer based in Co. Cork, Ireland, who works for companies and private individuals.
My clients have a love of photography, and they are proud of what they ask me to photograph, be it their shipping operations, their production processes, the professionalism of their personnel, or their wedding day. They all have a story they want to capture in photographs.
Documentary photography is a very powerful way of producing images that have an enduring impact.
For corporations, documentary photographs capture the pride, the traditions and the values of a company, allowing it to present itself in an engaging and honest way in its promotional material.
For my private clients, I could be photographing a beautiful moment between a newly-wed couple, or a shared joke between parents and children.
Either way, documentary photographs have a longevity that posed and contrived photographs simply lack.
That is my belief, and it underpins all of my work.
