Cheering Up

My wife came into the office earlier, wondering if I was all right. Apparently, I sound very glum in my John Hedgecoe Boo.

I’m happy to say I’m fine.

To prove it, here’s a picture from a wedding that’s going through the post-production cycle at the moment.

It made me smile. Children at weddings always do.

    Cheers John.

I think we may be moving towards a visual society. Modern mobile phone and computing technology combine to make it easier today to produce and distribute visual content, be it photographs or video. Not surprisingly, more people dabble in photography. You’re right. Everyone is a photographer these days. It’s almost a default setting.

    Thanks for reading and commenting.

I love that you actually have to look at your photos – it’s not a style you can just flick through and go ‘pretty… pretty… nice….. pretty’. There is always a story and quite often you have to work to figure out what the story is. Draws me in.

    Hi Shannon,

Thank you. That’s a great compliment for a documentary photographer to get.
