Blue Cat

Little girl in a blue cat mask

My daughter is the driving force behind a video we’re shooting over the next couple of days. It’ll be something to do with cats. Or as she calls them: Crraaahaaazy cats.

She will likely take all of the lead roles.

That’s only fair. So far she has done all the pre-production work: designing and painting the cats.

Daddy has taken on more of an executive producer role – ie, I’m the money man.

Tomorrow I shall become the camera man, focus puller, and so on.

Madam will shine as lead and director.

It is rarely, I think, a good thing when the star directs themselves. Especially when they are five years old.

***UPDATE***

We filmed, edited and dubbed the film this morning. I’m fairly pleased. The star left the project halfway through due to creative differences and the fact that SpongeBob was on TV.

    Thanks!

If you touch it, though, she kills you.

Really love the YouTube clip Roger. If it were any longer it may not have worked as well in my eyes. Less is more I guess and it left me pondering when it finished. Art via moving pictures and sound…….creative and thoughtful. Well done.

    David.

    Thanks David.

A bit of a departure, but like I say really it’s an exercise in getting to know the production process. It was also a lot of fun and the result is something we’ll look back on in years ahead with great affection.
