Photographing food is not an easy task. I totally agree, always charge for your work or at least a trade in return. As I am not a wedding or portrait photographer per se it's just not my game, I have done a few for friends but I always charge close to the going rate. It's not fair on the local photographers, it just damages the craft and steps on too many toes. Admire your work, good color compositions going on there. Photographing food is not an easy task.

I totally agree, always charge for your work or at least a trade in return.
